I can imagine all three smiling generations greeting the season's opening.
Wow!! Helluva sky! So deep a blue -- did you have a polarizing filter on the lens or was the color enhanced post-processing? In any event, eye popping! BTW-- are you the fox in the orange ski jacket?
Well it certainly looks as though you're having fun! How great that all the grandchildren enjoy skiing as soon as they are big enough! I never took to this sport at all, but I did enjoy the cross-country skiing and then took up Nordic pole walking! Enjoy yourselves! You're in the right place for snow!
Wonderful shots of skiing.
Wonderful shots of skiing. Very cool.
I bet all that skiing keeps you all very fit! Lovely blue skies and white snow. Lovely! Enjoy.
Beautiful skies and what fun to look forward to!! I love it!! Enjoy indeed!! Have a great weekend!!
Lovely skies and what fun. :)
Skiing is a great family bonding. Wonderful skies. Thanks for dropping by :)http://www.womenandperspectives.com/2013/11/sky-watch-above-stony-river.html
The sky in the first photo is gorgeous! Have fun!
That is so exciting!have fun!
You enjoy!!! Me...I'll take the cold front we had move in yesterday...and return temps of mid-70s today. Balmy winters after 40+ years of Colorado winters was/is/has been enough for me. LOL
How fun that you can ski with your grandchildren! I noticed the local ski hill was making snow here this week, too. I snowshoe and cross country ski so it will be awhile before there is enough snow in the woods.
That first picture should hang in the chamber of commerce office. I so enjoy this season for I get to enjoy vicariously what I am to chicken to try. Its not the skiing that gives me pause but riding those darn ski lifts to get to the slopes. Sigh.
I would truly enjoy the scenery but am not pulled by the act of skiing. More by the act of seeing. lol How wonderful that you enjoy the sport.
Fun, fun, fun. What a thrill to ski with Grandkids. Beautiful skies also.
The sky in your first photo is breath-taking! Always great to see you and your grands. :)
I can feel the cold, clean air in my lungs. You have passed on a healthy life style.
Blue skies, big smiles! Now THAT is the kind of post I love to see! Keep having fun!
Great sky shots ~ and beautiful area ~ fun skiiing ~ carol, xxxps. not sure previous comment went through
Beautiful Barb. The blue sky is stunning. I don't know how much skiing I will get to do this year, but I expect it will be mostly with my little grandkids who are just learning instead of trying to keep up with the older kids.
Gorgeous shots! and it does look like FUN!! (although I have never done it)
Beautiful photos of snow-covered landscape and family pleasure. There’s nothing so exciting like a snow day. If it snowed in Nara, I’d be busy to have fun as much as possible. On the contrary, there’s nothing so depressing like freezing rain. Today’s morning was so, but it’s going to be fine. You look so nice in your red jacket, Barb.Yoko
A couple of the Salt Lake resorts are open. Looks like lots of good family fun!
I cant believe how much snow you have! Looks like you and your family are having a great time!
Wow, great image of the snow-capped mountains and deep blue sky! Looks like you're having a fabulous time with your granddaughter, no wonder you're so fit - all that hiking and skiing :)
How beautiful, and it looks like so much fun! Enjoy the season!
Oh I have to admit I am a little jealous that is a beautiful place. I do not ski but love snowshoeing in the elements. Grandchildren are the best I cannot wait to have some:) B

What fun to share your love of skiing with your grandchildren! You are in the right place -- it looks beautiful. I enjoy cross country skiing, and am hoping for some good snow in the mountains this year.
Oh my, what a gorgeous header, Barb!!! Happy to see you all back skiing - winter has a lot of magical moments and there you are, living in the middle of them!!
That first picture does not even look real, it is so amazing! It looks as if it is from a movie! :)

I love how happy you look! We still have flowers blooming here, and I go into winter hoping for no snow at all. I appreciate getting to enjoy its beauty through your pictures. :-)
Hi, Barb!It is amazing ! You have already started skiing! Many skiers in Japan might rush to your mountain if they see your photos. You can enjoy seeing the beautiful sky and skiing! You look so good in a red jacket. I am a late visitor. I have been quite busy at our house. I am going to write, Barb. Enjoy skiing and take care!Tomoko
