LIfe at High Altitude in Colorado

May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds.

Barb, each one is stunning, but the best is the last, and where would our men be without their toys? Down here, Hugh's quad is used every day, and I know when he is so much better, I don't get to drive it any more. Greetings, Jean.

It's wonderful to know another blogger who seems to like snow as much as I do. I'm not a skier like you are, but still I marvel at how beautiful it is.

It looks very cold but beautiful.
Beautiful shots.

Speaking of John Deere's
"What did the tractor say to the plow?
"Pull me a little closer John Dear"

Have you heard that joke before?
I think it's cute ....LOL

gorgeous! The sunset is stunning!
I've been to Breckenridge a couple times, but only in Summer. The snow is beautiful, but I'm not quite ready for it yet.
Thanks for your comment on my xenial post. What a good guess! Xenial actually means hospitable. I've added the definition to my post.

The changing light, air, and vapor create such a wondrous world, and you are closer to such magical world than me. I always sigh in seeing your photos, dear Barb. In my part of the world, trees have just started colors after summer like hot October. I wish we could have snow coming winter.

Barb ~~~ your world is absolutely stunning ~~ I've always dreamed of living in the mountains, the closest we managed was Vancouver with Grouse Mountain a hop skip and a jump away. It was great for 2 years but alas the seashore called us make east. Now I can rekindle that feeling through your eyes.

Thanks so much!
Ron

Oh how beautiful the photos are! I can almost feel the cold (well it is very cold here today, in the 40s which is the coldest its been since last spring!) and know I would so love to visit here. Your post made me think of being little and listening to the snow crunch under my boots after the first snowfall. I have been away from blogging for months now but will be back soon to view your next adventure!
