ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post fitting for the New Year. I like the third photo very much and your word with it. I feel as if I can hear each flower whispering in a gentle voice. Yes, we can always find a seed of new possibilities around us.
Today, my husband, family in laws and I celebrated the New Year with the traditional dishes I made. I have a full stomach now. Tomorrow, our sons and younger son’s family: his wife and a daughter: will come and
spend four nights at our house. Now, I need to keep my strength for going out with our lively granddaughter.

Your photos are awesome-so creative and beautiful. The pic of the poinsettia tree was taken by my daughter on her trip to Phoenix last week. It is very cold here in Kansas right now. We did have a "dusting" of snow for New Years Day which was nice. Happy New Year to you--hope it is filled with peace, joy, and many blessings. Mickie ;)

ReplyDeleteYou seem to have plenty of snow for ski touring. We went out today for a 2 hour tour. No frostbite, thank goodness, on our 20 degree day.

ReplyDeleteWish I could join you in those ski trails. I thought nothing of the cold when I lived full time in the Eastern Sierra, now I'd think twice about getting on the skis and probably stay in front of the fire.
