Happy 2013!
I feel as though I'm waking up from a long rest!
I'm rejuvenated and ready to begin the new year.
How about you?
Right now, at this moment, Life is presenting us options - each of us chooses a unique path.
Each day brings us seeds of new possibilities and opportunites.
Best Wishes to you whatever path you choose.

ReplyDeleteI can see that joy in life and rejuvenation in your last picture, - they are all just gorgeous. I wish you much happiness and thank you for your caring over the last few months, - I too feel the new year urging me to gracefully immerse myself in a new way of living, which I know would please Charles. ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post fitting for the New Year. I like the third photo very much and your word with it. I feel as if I can hear each flower whispering in a gentle voice. Yes, we can always find a seed of new possibilities around us.
Today, my husband, family in laws and I celebrated the New Year with the traditional dishes I made. I have a full stomach now. Tomorrow, our sons and younger son’s family: his wife and a daughter: will come and
spend four nights at our house. Now, I need to keep my strength for going out with our lively granddaughter.
Happy New Year, Barb!

Your photos are awesome-so creative and beautiful. The pic of the poinsettia tree was taken by my daughter on her trip to Phoenix last week. It is very cold here in Kansas right now. We did have a "dusting" of snow for New Years Day which was nice. Happy New Year to you--hope it is filled with peace, joy, and many blessings. Mickie ;)
ReplyDeleteBarb, these are lovely photos of your world! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back!!!! You look happy and healthy. And, I sure hope that you didn't really get frostbite the other day. It sure has been *cold*, even more so for you than for us! Enjoy the winter wonderland!

Hello Barb- Happy New Year! Glad you are celebrating the new year out in the natural world that you love. Hope you had a wonderful holiday season. I am on my way to San Diego to see family & should be there by tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing them & resting, too. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!! I love these photos! I admit I am always sad to take down the Christmas tree, and then Garrett left for Camp Pendleton on New Year's Day, but I am ready for 2013, and hopefully more snow this winter!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you back & blogging, Barb. You always take such a long restful break--much longer than I can summons. Can feel your energy! It's zinging!
ReplyDeletethe sunrays and your tracks get me excited to get back out in the snow : ) thanks for your kind comment today ~ happy new year!
ReplyDeleteWish I could join you in those ski trails. I thought nothing of the cold when I lived full time in the Eastern Sierra, now I'd think twice about getting on the skis and probably stay in front of the fire.
